The city of Auburn Hills has provided us with an August update to this project.
The key information is:
From approximately August 1st to August 23rd the intersection and curve area will be closed resulting in three dead ends
roads (Shimmons West, Shimmons East, and Dexter).
If the intersection of Shimmons and Dexter is cleared to allow traffic, we will be able to put traffic on Dexter back into it’s current
one-way northbound only configuration.
Please continue to follow the posted signs and coexist with the construction workers.
